  • Heavy horse demonstration area – visitors are given the opportunity to watch the heavy horses being prepared for Show with accompanyingpresentations

  • ERYC Waste and Recyling Officers on site all day to discuss recycling with general public

  • Food theatre with demonstrations from local chefs and opportunity to ask questions

  • Local Food Network opportunity to talk to local producers about where food comes from

  • Livestock section – opportunity to see at close proximity – cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and opportunity to speak to livestock breeders

  • Carcase section – opportunity to view lamb and pork carcases and opportunity to speak to stewards about the various cuts of meat and production methods

  • Equine section – opportunity to see wide variety of breeds of horses and ponies

  • Presentation and question time by Veterinary Practice

  • Driffield Agricultural Society marquee – opportunity to talk with Society members about the work of the Society and to learn about the other educational projects that the Society are involved with throughout the year
